Cerridwen, the Celtic goddess of knowledge and creativity, stirs a potent magic in her bottomless cauldron of mystery. A primal force of shadow and light, her magic draught bestows inspiration upon all who seek their muse. Medieval Welsh poetry refers to Cerridwen as possessing the cauldron of Poetic Inspiration (AWEN) and the Tale of Taliesin recounts her swallowing her servant Gwion Bach who is then reborn through her as the poet Taliesin. Cerridwen is regarded by modern Wiccans as the Celtic goddess of rebirth, transformation, and inspiration.
